Renatka’s 40th birthday isn’t old age
Admittedly, you can’t see it with the naked eye on my sister that time is shamelessly marching forward. Even arming yourself with glasses, a magnifying glass, a microscope, or the most advanced optical equipment doesn’t help. You look and still see the same Renatka, just somehow more experienced, elegant, and definitely better oriented in life. The only device that can’t be fooled is the calendar. This ruthless human invention clearly indicates that Renatka, or rather the dignified Ms. Renata, has just turned 40. Forty! It sounds serious, but in my sister’s case, it’s more like forty reasons to celebrate than reasons to panic. After all, 40 isn’t old age. It’s simply a solid tenure in being young, just with more experience, better judgment, and maybe a slightly higher need for rest after an intense day.
Celebrating and a cake fit for the birthday girl
The opportunity to celebrate came up during a visit to Marta’s. And since we already have a birthday girl in the family with such a beautiful number on the odometer, we couldn’t just ignore it. So, a wonderful cake appeared, effectively reminding everyone that there’s no point in worrying about numbers. After all, you can just focus on the frosting, the chocolate, and grabbing another slice in the name of family tradition.
The cake looked so good that for a moment you could get the impression it was the main star of the event. Ultimately, though, Renata took precedence, even if the cake undoubtedly had its five minutes of fame.
Level 40 unlocked!
Level 40 has just been unlocked, and the experience gained along the way should provide some pretty nice bonuses. On this occasion, I wish you, Renatka, health first and foremost, because without it even the best cake doesn’t taste the same. I also wish you plenty of reasons to laugh, enough money to fulfill all your whims, vacations longer than the wait for the weekend, and patience for people who will remind you that you’re already 40. I wish that your wrinkles appear only from laughing, your gray hairs only from happiness, and the post-cake pounds disappear faster than the birthday girl herself after hearing the word ‘diet.’ May every upcoming year only add to your experience, confidence, and reasons to rejoice, while subtracting stress, problems, and any unnecessary drama. May life spoil you more than the best cake, and may every day be proof that 40 is just the beginning of some really good fun. Happy birthday, Renatka! Or rather… here’s to at least another forty, because now that you’ve got the first half of your life behind you, the best part is just beginning!
