I have a birthday every year. This one is the saddest so far, because it’s the first time without my Mom, but what can you do, life goes on. I didn’t crave a birthday celebration, but Rafcia’s 9th is an absolute must and an opportunity to pamper the taste buds with Marta’s cake. As for me, I kept it low-key but solid: instead of a cake, I blew out a candle on a pastry 🙂 but with a little bottle of vodka on the side.
