March birthdays

Like every year, in March I celebrate my birthday. It’s funny because I turned 18 a long time ago (right now [fergcorp_cdt_single date=”1978/03/17″]). So theoretically, I could buy alcohol legally, and I even meet the requirements to run for president. Counting my age any further makes no sense – except maybe for one thing: retirement.

Holiday culinary experiments

This year I decided to surprise my loved ones with something special for the holidays. Even though I ordered the pierogi from the best pierogi shop, I also made my own variation of a herring and egg salad served on crackers. My reliable Thermomix helped me out with that.
