Meeting Ruda

Spotkanie z Rudą – Konstancin

Jola and I went to Konstancin-Jeziorna. Our destination was the Witold Skórzewski Spa Park. The reason for the visit was very noble and cultural – Sylwia was performing in a choir. Naturally, we couldn’t let it all happen without our support.

Upon arrival, we found ourselves right in the heart of a spa resort vibe. The park made a huge impression on us – beautiful alleys, lots of greenery, peace, and quiet.

The atmosphere calms you down instantly. Well, maybe except for the moments when we had to decide which way to actually go.

Sylwia’s performance itself went great. The choir presented themselves so well that for a moment we felt like we were at a real concert, not just a regular Sunday or a trip to Konstancin.

Of course, we were proud and bravely supported the artists. Fortunately, our vocal skills weren’t needed that day.

A walk in the park

After the performance, we decided to take a walk. This is where the real part of the trip began – meaning exploring everything there was to see. At a pace adapted to our legs’ capabilities, of course.

The graduation tower made the biggest impression on us. It’s truly massive! You look at it and wonder if it’s still a graduation tower, or already an engineering marvel worthy of a highway.

But then again, Konstancin-Jeziorna is a spa town. Everything has to be suitably healthy, grand, and preferably with a lot of brine.

We walked peacefully, admiring the park and soaking up the spa air. Some claim that thanks to the graduation tower, you instantly breathe better. After a few hours of walking, we concluded something else – it’s definitely better to sit on a bench.

The trip turned out to be very successful. A little music, a little walking, a lot of greenery, and of course the mandatory dose of good humor.

Konstancin definitely stuck in our memories as a place worth returning to. The Konstancin-Jeziorna Spa Park is so big that we probably didn’t manage to see everything on our first try.
