KSW 29 at the TAURON Arena in Krakow showed that the capital of Lesser Poland can make more noise than many a stadium. KSW’s debut in the new Krakow arena drew crowds of fans who knew from the very first fight that this wouldn’t be a quiet evening. Mamed Khalidov returned to the cage and quickly dealt with Brett Cooper. He showed that his ideas for a win sometimes pop up faster than his opponent can even figure out what’s going on. Mariusz Pudzianowski fought a true battle of strength and character against Paweł Nastula. The whole event delivered plenty of thrills, heavy exchanges, and moments that made fans forget they were supposed to sit down sometimes. In a word – KSW 29 in Krakow was a massive sporting kickoff, where the cage had its rules, but the emotions made their own.
