May was one of those pretty meticulously planned months. On the very first of May, Iza and I went to Kasia and Przemek’s wedding, and the next day (or rather the same day, just later :P) we went to the next-day wedding party. A beautiful wedding, a beautiful venue. The wedding had some action right during the first dance – the bride and groom took a tumble, and the bride injured her leg so badly that she only made it to the end of the reception thanks to adrenaline.
In May we also went to see the Moral Anxiety Cabaret at the Grodzisk Cultural Center – an awesome show.
On the second Sunday in May, we attended a First Communion party at the venue where we’re having our own wedding reception in October. A little test of the service, the food, and the venue in general – the test turned out extremely positive, and on top of that, I took tons of pictures of myself with horses, of the horses, and of the other animals present on site.
This is also the month when you seriously have to get down to wedding preparations. The invitations are a one-day job (plus two days for the future wife’s corrections), a visit to the choreographer to bring some joy to the guests at the wedding, etc.
I won tickets to the Polsat Warsaw Open on Facebook (not that I entered a sports competition, it’s just that Sony-Ericsson sponsored the tournament and gave them away on their profile). Since the date didn’t work for me, I passed them on to people who actually know a thing or two about sports 😛
Oh, and the surgery…
