Front page of Gazeta Wyborcza

On Monday, a Gazeta Wyborcza journalist – Jan Halbersztat – wrote to me. And then he called. We set up an interview for Tuesday.

And so it happened. The conversation was pleasant and to the point. Later, a photographer even dropped by for a photoshoot 😛

The next day, on the front page of the Warsaw supplement of Gazeta Wyborcza, an article appeared titled Aliens are coming to Ursus. Naturally, along with my picture — I’m looking up at the sky, as if I were on the lookout for those aliens.

Traffic on the site went crazy, as if half of Warsaw suddenly wanted to see my page. Luckily, the servers held up and nobody saw a 404.

At the time, I didn’t realize how much this article would change my life.
