Krynica Górska 2011

Krynica Górska 2011 – Krynica Górska

The holidays came and went. When it’s winter, there’s snow; when there’s snow, there are skis; and when there are skis… it’s Krynica Górska.

Already on the first day of our stay at the Willa Karla guesthouse, there was no shortage of attractions. The highlanders dropped by and put on a Nativity play. The wonderfully prepared slopes encouraged skiing both during the day and in the evenings. Great food at the Inn (under the watchful eyes of stuffed animals staring back at us :P)

We started the next day with a local attraction, namely the natural mineral waters. I won’t write about the taste, smell, or the effects of drinking the water, but mixing Zuber and Jan in an unspecified proportion starts a revolution in your stomach and intestines worthy of the French one. In any case, a walk around Góra Parkowa and the spa park wouldn’t have been possible without a prior visit to the pizzeria 😛

In the evening came another surprise, a sleigh ride around the area ending with a feast by a bonfire, which we treated as a warm-up before tomorrow’s highlight of the program, New Year’s Eve.
The latter started with some light skiing and preparations for the ball, a ball where even Marilyn Monroe made an appearance 😉

Delicious food, excellent fun, good music… the perfect recipe for a successful New Year’s Eve Ball. The fireworks display disappointed me a little bit, but well, it’s not the capital 😛
