Since I was on vacation, I went with Iza, Damian, Marta, and Paweł to the plot by Lake Łąkie. The weather was excellent, and after the May floods and rains, the water level was exceptionally high. To start with, since the trip to the plot was just a long weekend, I wanted 10 beers for the two of us who were drinking. But since they’re packed in crates of 20, I grabbed a whole crate :-). Already on Friday we had to go get a second one :P. The second one lasted us to the very end. When the sun was shining, the girls sunbathed, or we all went for walks, grilled, or made bonfires. Those who felt like it floated on an air mattress or went for a swim. Sara – Marta and Paweł’s Labrador – was very happy with her stay at the plot (I deduced this from the intensity of her tail wagging). She probably racked up enough kilometers on the plot that she could have walked back home ;-). During our stay at the plot, the last traces of my surgery faded; only a slight swelling remained, but I didn’t have any extra colors.
On the way back home, Artur called with the news that he was organizing a combined bachelor/bachelorette party for Mariusz and Karolina. So the end of June and the beginning of July were already planned out for us, too 🙂
On June 19, 2010, Sebastian and Joasia’s wedding took place (the second wedding this year). At this wedding, my future wife could actually have a drink, because her mom was picking us up. Usually she doesn’t drink, because as of now I don’t have a driver’s license, and by some strange coincidence, she’s always the one driving back from all the parties.
