Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula

Kazimierz Dolny nad Wisłą – Kazimierz Dolny

On Sunday, July 20, 2008, Tomek and I took a trip to Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula. We headed out with a fair bit of uncertainty about whether the weather would be on our side.

It rained at times on the way to Kazimierz, but once we arrived, we managed to catch some sunny weather… but only for a moment.

The visit was quick, because after seeing the Hill of Three Crosses and the market square, it started to rain lightly at first, but picked up over time. So we quickly bought some bread roosters (5 each :P) and headed toward home. On the way back, we hit such a downpour that the wipers on Tomek’s car couldn’t keep up with clearing the rain from the windshield.

Along the route, we saw quite a few storks and (oh, the horror) even one in flight. This time it wasn’t a heron like in Darłówko 😛
