Kicking off the Polska Grupa Partner 2025 training
When the 4 Żywioły hotel in Falenty fills up with representatives of Polska Grupa Partner 📎, you just know right away that the standard definitions of training no longer apply.
On May 30, 2025, right on the dot at an hour the attendees considered barbarically early (but the coffee was already brewing and gave the proper kick), almost 140 people from every corner of Poland showed up.
Everyone was ready for a “survival course” in the jungle of innovative products.
8 hours of presentations and 17 companies
For a full 8 hours, 17 leading companies brought out their heaviest sales artillery. They presented their latest products in as many as eight rooms simultaneously.
Each presentation was a bit like a boxing ring 🥊. Except instead of punches, there were spot-on arguments. Instead of gloves – pens 🖊️, labels 🏷️, and piles of colorful paper.
Who presented?
Fellowes started with ergonomics. They reminded us that you only have one spine and it’s worth respecting it, even at the office.
2×3 brought the stereotypical whiteboard to life. They equipped it with magnets, wheels, and more style than your average Instagram influencer.
Edding colored our imagination with permanent markers. These are colors that will survive even an office tsunami.
Argo convinced us that documents can be as attractive as a Vogue cover. It’s almost a shame to hide them in a binder.
Avery decided to organize not just office life, but personal life too. They labeled almost everything, including the lunchbox and the dog.
Stabilo brought back school days. With a clear upgrade – the markers basically jumped into our hands on their own, as if they were remote-controlled.
Biurfol made binders suddenly become an object of desire.
Esselte showed that even a classic can surprise you like a Hollywood blockbuster sequel.
Sylvamo brought paper. It felt more like silk, dazzling attendees with a smoothness worthy of silk shirts.
Merida argued that cleanliness in the office isn’t a whim. It’s a basic human right – who wants to work in an environment where your hands and everything else are sticky?
Astra transported everyone back to childhood. They proved that modeling clay and crayons will never go out of style – especially when a grown adult suddenly unleashes their inner sleeping artist.
Hamelin delighted us with the aesthetics of notebooks that practically took notes by themselves.
Trodat proved that a rubber stamp can be a work of art.
Emerson presented notebooks so luxurious that some people felt bad even opening them.
Metsa stepped onto the stage with an eco-mission. They argued that the future of paper is green – quite literally.
BIC, as always, stood guard over reliability. After all, it’s a synonym for the word “pen”.
Staropolanka (or rather Uzdrowiska Kłodzkie) made sure nobody collapsed from exhaustion. They served water faster than rumors spread around the room.
Lunch break
At noon, it was time for a lunch break 🍖. This event was so strategic it should have been listed as a separate agenda item.
The conversations at the table were just as intense as the presentations. Trading business cards felt like a high-stakes card game.
Evening: full-blown party
The evening was all about fun – a BBQ dinner 🥩🥓 with an open bar 🍷🍸🍹🍻.
First, though, Staropolanka treated the best branches to vouchers. Fellowes handed out prizes in the form of free shopping, which made even the pickiest collectors of ergonomic gadgets dizzy with excitement.
A DJ and a magician on stage
Right after the prize giveaway, the DJ took over the dance floor 🎧. He kept pumping up the atmosphere until a magician 🪄 stepped on stage – a total surprise.
He charmed and stunned us for an hour. He pulled people from the audience to become – completely unwittingly – his assistants for magic tricks.
After the illusion show, the DJ went back to the decks. The magician didn’t vanish, though. For the next two hours, he wandered between the tables, doing close-up magic. He surprised everyone with a smile and broke the laws of physics and logic.
The party ended long past midnight. The last lights in the hotel rooms went out way later than anyone would have dared to guess.
Because when Grupa Partner trains, they do it with passion. And when they party – they do it with no brakes.
Behind the scenes: the prep and the team
The whole event wrapped up an intense, nearly two-month prep period. During that time, we finally managed to clear our office of boxes full of product samples.
The materials came from our suppliers. Now we finally have room to freely walk from one end of the office to the other again. Without having to use mountaineering techniques.
Our absolute heroes
Angelika proved that organizing chaos into a harmonious whole is actually possible. Even though it requires logistical miracles on par with juggling flamingos. Thanks to her, the whole event came to life and got its color.
Tomek showed talent worthy of a chess grandmaster. He’s the master of strategic training planning. The suppliers were thrilled, the trainers were satisfied. And nobody fell asleep – officially, at least.
I, Waldek, delivered not only a bazillion ideas (some used, some ignored) but also the graphic design work. From roll-ups to name tags that turned out so well some attendees decided to keep them as family heirlooms for generations to come :-).
Designing them gave me a ton of satisfaction. Plus lots of interactions with Angelika and Tomek. We kept debating what is pretty and modern and what isn’t :P.
