KSW 27 at the ERGO Arena is an event that went down in history as the moment KSW swapped the ring for a circular cage. And I have to admit – the new “scenery” passed the test with flying colors. Mamed Khalidov proved once again that submissions can be just as spectacular as knockouts. Mariusz Pudzianowski beat Oli Thompson, and Borys Mańkowski grabbed the belt in spectacular style. Add to that a great atmosphere, a full spectrum of emotions, and over 12,000 fans who showed that it can get really hot by the seaside. In a word – the cage’s debut was so successful that no one missed the ring anymore.
