Politicians vs. TVN

The Politicians vs. TVN Stars match on September 1, 2013, showed that election campaigns don’t work on the field—only goals count. The politicians put up a fight for a long time, and Roman Kosecki was finding the back of the net just like in his best soccer days. Ultimately, though, the TVN stars shifted into a higher gear and won 5:3. They proved that they can play just as spectacularly on the turf as they do in front of the camera. There were thrills, smiles, sportsmanship, and even a spectacular entrance onto the field by Ryszard Kalisz. The most important thing, however, was that everyone was playing for a good cause—supporting the TVN ‘You Are Not Alone’ Foundation. That day, what mattered more than the score was that the ball truly brought together people from very different worlds.
